**MPS/UPS + SEN Point
An excellent primary school in East London are looking for a passionate Primary Teacher or SEN Teacher to join them in September on a permanent contract.
The school is a large 3 form entry primary school which also has an SEN provision that caters for children on the autistic spectrum. It is an interesting and challenging role that would either suit an experienced SEN teacher or a primary teacher who is keen to move into SEN.
The role is split into two – in the morning teaching in the resource base. There would be some 1-2-1 and some small group teaching of children with ASD. In the afternoon, the role is based in the school taking small intervention groups of children with speech and language difficulties. The children are a wide range of abilities with some of the children operating at P-levels. This would really suit a teacher who is strong in EYFS and KS1. There is also a focus on supporting the children’s social, language and communication needs. The successful teacher will be patient, caring and driven to make a difference.
The school would like to interview as soon as possible for this role, so if you are interested please forward a copy of your CV as soon as possible.
