My client Primary school is a very established Church of England school based in the borough of Lambeth. The school occupies a large site with extensive outdoor grounds for learning and sports, plus a fully equipped school with excellent facilities. The Governing Body and Senior Leadership team work tirelessly to ensure that the school has funding and staff to work to a very high standard.
The Headteacher would welcome application from experienced Key Stage 2 teachers who have a proven track record of raising attainment. You will be working with children in Year 5 and 6 to boost their abilities in Maths and English so excellent curriculum knowledge is a must, together with high expectations and the ability to really get children engaged in learning. Your days will be varied and include some 1 to 1 work, group work and some whole class teaching to cover PPA when needed. The role would suit an enthusiastic, positive and proactive teacher with a can do approach to raising attainment and high expectations for all children.
